Internship Program

A Gateway to Professional Landscaping

Interns will become part of a dedicated team focused on landscape asset management, engaging in key tasks that ensure the vitality and aesthetic quality of the outdoor spaces we service. This role is pivotal in learning the operational facets of our business, from resource management to client engagement, giving interns a holistic view of the landscape industry.

We emphasize a collaborative learning environment where interns are empowered to take ownership of their tasks and demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and initiative to produce results with proper guidance. Candidates interested in the Pacscape internship should possess a strong inclination towards landscape or urban horticulture, bolstered by relevant academic pursuits such as urban agriculture or turf management. The program requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities including the use of industry-standard software for project planning and active participation in site assessments alongside our management teams.

Internship Requirements

Prospective candidates should possess:

  • A career interest in landscape, urban horticulture, or golf course management.
  • Academic background or coursework in urban agriculture, turf management, irrigation, design, management, or conservation.
  • A willingness to undertake additional online courses in irrigation management and conservation.
  • Reliable personal transportation for site visits (with mileage reimbursement).
  • The physical ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
  • A collaborative spirit to work with our water manager, account managers, and field managers in evaluating sites and preparing reports.

Internship Responsibilities

During the internship, you will:

  • Participate in creating estimates and proposals for property using Aspire Intel software.
  • Work alongside Account Managers to identify landscape issues and opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits to collect critical data such as measurements and photos.
  • Learn about water conservation techniques and document findings and recommendations.
