Parking Lot & Sidewalk Deicer Pre-Treatment

We offer a service that helps prevent ice from forming on parking lots and sidewalks before it even starts snowing or raining. This pre-treatment, applied the night before icy weather is forecast and helps stop black ice and heavy frost, which make surfaces slippery and dangerous for pedestrians and vehicles. It is important to remember that this service doesn't replace the need to plow, sand, or shovel after it snows or rains because the deicer can get washed away or covered up by the snow. This service is mainly for those when a little bit of ice can cause a lot of problems, like during freezing rain or early winter nights. Many cities and towns do this on public roads, and we provide it for businesses too. We also suggest signing up for our plowing, sanding, and shoveling services to keep your parking lots safe throughout the winter season.

Sidewalk Shoveling & Deicing

Following snowfall or ice accumulation, our team will efficiently remove as much snow or ice as possible through shoveling. We then treat any remaining frozen precipitation with granular deicer to further enhance pedestrian safety. While this combined approach improves walking conditions, it's important to acknowledge that completely slip-free surfaces cannot be guaranteed in freezing temperatures. Additionally, daytime thawing and refreezing cycles can cause ice to reappear even without new precipitation. Be aware that these freeze-thaw cycles can also contribute to concrete deterioration over time.

Parking Lot Granular Deicing

Granular deicing is an effective method to improve traction and create safer driving conditions in parking lots. This service is particularly recommended after liquid deicer application and following snow plowing. Plowing does not remove all snow, and the remaining thin layer can be quite slippery.

Parking Lot Plowing

For snowfall that has built up to 3 inches of snow, plowing is recommended. When faced with a large amount of snowfall, pre-treatment and sanding alone are simply not sufficient to maintain accessible parking lots. Our team utilizes a diverse fleet of equipment, including truck-mounted plows, skid-steers, backhoes, and large loaders, to efficiently clear parking lots and create designated pathways. Please note that clearing large snowfalls can take several days.
